Play Neon Merge — draw chains, merge the numbers
How to play
Draw a chain of at least two cells; on release the chain clears, the result lands in the last cell and columns fall down. The "Chain" readout shows live what you will get.
Tips
Long chains build big numbers in one move — aim for rising chains like 2-2-4-8-16. Keep big numbers in the lower rows so fresh small numbers pile up on top as chain material.
Frequently asked questions
What is the chain rule?
Press a cell and drag to adjacent cells (diagonals included). The next cell must equal the previous one, or equal the running total rounded down to a power of two. 2-2-4-8 is a valid chain.
How is the result computed?
The sum of the chain is rounded down to the nearest power of two and written into the last cell. 2+2+4 = 8; 2+2+2 = 6 → 4.
When does the game end?
When no two adjacent equal numbers remain. Emptied cells fill by gravity; new numbers scale with the biggest number on the board.
